was born in Minsk, Belarus. She studied at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts before moving to the United States in 2012. She continued her education at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in Maryland, where she graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting. During her time at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Lola made significant shifts in her artistic practice under the mentorship of Professor Jinchul Kim. Her BFA exhibition received several accolades, including the President's Choice Award and the Library Art Prize Collection Award.
In 2021, Lola was accepted into the prestigious Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona. There, she had the opportunity to teach undergraduate students as an Instructor of Record and earned her MFA in 2024.
Lola has won numerous awards for her work, including the Dedalus MFA Fellowship, the Martin Wong Foundation Scholarship, and the Gayle J. Novak and Robert D. Cocke Award in Painting. Her artwork has been featured in notable publications such as the Washington Post, Fine Art Connoisseur, and Metropolitan Magazine. Her drawings and paintings are privately collected throughout the United States and are part of the permanent collections of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and the Galbut Foundation.
Currently, Lola is an Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
